Well, damn, it's been over a year since I've posted any updates for the Sistine Chapel project on my blog. I do still post quite regularly on my social media accounts which you can find at the bottom of the page. A lot of personal things have happened in the year since I've posted a blog, and those personal things have limited the amount of time that I can stitch. With that being said, I still managed to get quite a bit done.
2023 was a hard year for me. I lost my mother and I was able to keep up with stitching for a little bit, but then reality and depression hit, so since my last post in June of 2023 I only stitched in June and July of 2023.
June 2023 - 2,075 Stitches
July 2023 - 723 Stitches
2024 has been a better year, though the depression and grief are real and I still struggle with them. So far in 2024 this is what I have completed of the Sistine Chapel Cross Stitch Project:
January 2024 - 2,654 Stitches
April 2024 - 12,163 Stitches
May 2024 - 10,642 Stitches
June 2024 - 8,701 Stitches
July 2024 - 10,142 Stitches
August - 4,801 Stitches
All that being said, I've stitched 107,307 stitches, in 854+ hours. I currently do all my stitching live on Twitch, M-F from 2:00pm - 6:00pm PST. I post a weekly schedule on my socials because that is due to change because live is like that.
